West Bear Builders was founded on a simple belief: that the people building your home should care about it as much as you do. That means honest communication, meticulous craft, and a process that respects your time and your trust.
Our story
Started with one project. Built on reputation.
West Bear Builders grew out of a decade of hands-on construction experience across the Bay Area South Bay. Our founder, Jared, started as a finish carpenter and worked his way through every phase of residential construction before starting his own firm in Los Gatos.
What began as a small remodeling operation has grown into a full-service design-build firm — but the values haven't changed. We still run lean, stay personally involved in every project, and treat every home like it's the only one we're building.
Our clients are homeowners who've done their research, know what they want, and are looking for a builder they can trust to deliver it. We don't take on more projects than we can give our full attention to. That's not a limitation — it's a choice.
